Bought more Set 3 boxes than we originally planned for...

How much we preordered
After going very all-in for Set 2 in terms of preorders and pre-releases, we/I decided to tone it down for Set 3. We had originally preordered two boxes and went to three pre-releases (1x Pyscho Turtle and 2x Cardboard Games).
Interjection: A friend asked if I wanted a box for ~$83, I said yes. Psycho Turtle was offering $75+tax ($82.68 total) for a box after their pre-release, so we bought two more boxes. So, five boxes total.
Context: For Set 2, we went to six pre-releases (12 kits + 29 participation/prizing packs) and opened four boxes (197 total packs; ~8.2 boxes. We had originally preordered a case, but part of it got backordered). This yielded a playset of almost every rare (missing like five rares) and we traded/bought the Legendaries we wanted/needed soon after the set release. The issue with this is that this killed the joy of opening future Set 2 products as we basically already had everything we needed (ofc it didn’t help that Set 2 wasn’t a very desired product in general). That’s why I sold the Set 2 boxes won via PQs and via Kingslayer’s Store Showdown.

Total Breakdown
5 Boxes + 6 pre-release kits + 17 prizing packs = 173 packs = ~7.2 boxes
1 Showcase, 23 legendaries, 179 rares
~3.2 Legendaries/box; ~24.8 Rares/box
Total cost (boxes + pre-release events): $647.23
$/Pack = $647.23/173 packs = $3.74/pack, ~$89.79/box rate (keep in mind of the six pre-release entries, which would be closer to the MSRP pricing of the kit’s six packs)
Conclusion
It seems like there is no longer a collation/mapped issue seeing how random it is with one of our boxes having two duplicate Legendaries (regular variant).
Still have one-ofs rares: Roger Roger, Kit Fisto, and Count Dooku.
7 Boxes is a much better amount than our Set2's ~8.2 boxes as we don't really have an excessive amount of rares beyond their playset. I still want to try our original 2 boxes preorder + pre-releases plan (targeting ~4 boxes worth) and see how that pans out given that we’ll be getting packs throughout the given set.
No more buying Set3 products; going to try to trade for my wants + cover gap with money.

Onto the Set 3 deck building and weeklies!
