5/10 - Store Showdown at Paper Hero’s Games Huntington Beach

First time at this store, it’s pretty nice and clean. They had the timers on the TVs. They also had two water fountains. A minor complaint is that the tables were kind of slippery, so the mats kept shifting during the games.

Alyssa went 2-1 and made Top 4. I went 1-2 and made Top 8 (clickbaity title as there were only 8 players total lol).

They did a 100% prize out in terms of revenue.

Vs Fennec Tarkintown 1-2

Very close games.

Vs Rey Data Vault 0-2

I felt that I was on the verge of stabilizing in both games, but they rebuild their board too fast.

Conclusion

Alyssa did great at placing Top 4. I did bleh.
