Deck - Bossk Green
Just standard Bossk green doing standard Bossk green good stuff. It’s a slightly different list from what I ran in Pasadena PQ, https://www.lumimouse.com/i/154803975/jerrys-deck-bossk-green.
I was never able to pull off the Turn1 Dengar + bounty ping dream.
Matchups
Vs Cassian Yellow 0-1
We pre-sided.
They played Green Squadron A-Wing, I played a bounty and pinged it. They removed the bounty the following turn via Disabling Fang Fighter. I later got overwhelmed by their air and by their two Surprise Strikes.
Vs Han1 Blue 1-0
We pre-sided.
They played Favorable Delegate, I played a bounty. They played Now There Are Two Of Them into Ki-Adi Mundi. I played Superlaser Technician. Their Ki-Adi Mundi ended up living for a quite a while, but I played carefully around to make sure that I don’t play my second card when their coordinate is active. I eventually was able to overwhelm them with my bigger late game stuff.
Vs Yoda Green 0-1
We pre-sided.
On the resource 6 turn, they played You're My Only Hope to play out a Home One. I basically had no good answer to and died to it.
Vs Cad Bane 0-1
My starting hand had no Turn1 play, but I thought it was fine as it had double ramp. They played Cartel Spacer, I took initiative. I played Superlaser Technician, they played Now There Are Two Of Them into Zuckuss and pinged my Superlaser Technician. I took initiative. The following turn, I played Resupply, they attacked with Cartel Spacer, I decided to flip, expecting to get killed by Zuckuss, which I thought would be fine given my Daring Raid to finish it. Instead, they played 4-LOM and killing my Bossk leader with the Cad’s ping. I still Daring Raid'd their Zuckuss, to setup for it to be killed by Vader, which I did the following turn. I eventually got too much damage from their space and later a Ruthless Raider, and my Reinforcement Walker and Emperor Palpatine couldn't turn the game around.
Vs Krennic Yellow 1-0
This is a new player.
Conclusion
Another week of bad weekly performance. I do feel that it’s more deck inherent as I basically died to space threats. This is our last weekly before our Hawaii PQ on 1/25.
